To benefit by using the latest NVIDIA for your Windows 10 Operating system will require you to search the internet for the latest driver.
NVIDIA usually update their device drivers and make it available online for download.
To find out if there is an updated driver available, right click your mouse on start, the “Windows logo” at the bottom left side of your screen.
Click “Run” and type “devmgmt.msc” on the text box, a “Device Manager” window will appear.
Scroll down and click “Display Adapter” to expand and show the list of adapters available on your system.
Right click NVDIA GeForce GTX 1070 then left click “Update Driver”.
A “How do you want to search for drivers?” window will pop-up.
You have a choice of searching for a new driver automatically or updating your driver manually.
Choose “Search automatically for updated driver software”.
Windows will search your computer and internet for the latest driver software for your device, unless you’ve disabled this feature in your device installation settings.
The other choice is upgrading your NVIDIA driver manually by choosing “Browse my computer for driver software”, if you have the driver available on hand.
Windows will let you know if the best driver for your device is already installed in your computer or it will install an updated driver, if it is available.
